Rockies Heli is currently accepting applications for Commercial Helicopter Pilots with 500 + hours.  Minimum of 50 hours on an R44 or above.  Turbine time an asset.  We are offering full time/seasonal position based out of Cline River.  Scope of work is listed below.

Tour Pilot – Primary

• Sightseeing tours/ Sightseeing tours with Wilderness walks (Escorting Guests on Stops, Summer & Winter)
• Commercial flights (hunting camps, longlining, fishing trips etc.)
• Charter flights; Ferry Flights; Off-field Landings
• Daily inspection of machines; fueling of helicopters; maintaining helicopters (cleaning inside and out)
• Ground Crew Duties: Guest Flight Safety Briefing, Guest Scaling, Guest Loading/Unloading from machines that are running or idle
• Radio Operations; maintenance and safety of the helipads
• Maintenance shed kept organized and tidy

Grounds & Vehicle Duties – Secondary

• Ground Maintenance (grass cutting, handling chain saws, electrical tools, snow removal, hauling water, garbage runs etc.)
• Vehicles driven, 11 passenger van, ½ ton truck with 16ft water trailer
• Any other duties required or assigned

Front Desk – When needed

• Reservation/Sales by Phone, E-mail
• Payments via online, phone, guests
• Data Entry; Processing guests for tours
• Photo and Gift Shop Sales
• Photo Ops of helicopter tours/stops and area

Off Duty Duties

• Staff meals and dishes
• Crew quarter cleaning

Shift

• 15 on 5 off as per Transport Canada
